This BAYSCOPE Survey (hereinafter “Survey ) is provided by Bayer CropScience Ltd., (hereinafter „us “or we
).
With this Privacy Statement, we inform you about how we handle your personal data when you participate in
this survey. By sharing the OTP to us, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Statement.
Scope and purpose of data processing
To understand Retail market, we will conduct BAYSCOPE survey. To complete this survey and do further
analysis, we will collect and process your following category of personal data, including,
Your name
Data of Birth (DOB)
Mobile Number
Email Address
Nos of years Pesticides/Seed Business
If you are a farmer (Yes/No)
If you are an Agri graduate (Yes/No)
And your answers to the other questions in the survey.
Subject to your consent we may send you marketing messages about products, events and services which we
consider may be of interest to you. You may at any time with future effect opt out of receiving marketing
information by using the unsubscribe option described in the marketing messages you received or contact us via
dpo_india@bayer.com.
We will store above mentioned personal data for 7 years. At the end of the retention period, we permanently
delete your personal data or anonymize it.
Disclosure and transfer of personal data
For the processing of your personal data, we will to some extent use specialized service contractors that process
your data on our behalf. Such service contractors are carefully selected and regularly monitored by us. Based on
respective data processing agreements, they will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions.
We may share your personal data with our affiliates from the Bayer Group, where necessary for the purposes
described above.
We may share your personal data with law enforcement agencies or other authorities and state institutions if
legally required or necessary for the purposes described above.
To support legal decisions and to pursue or defend against legal claims, we may share your personal data with
external lawyers.
We will retain control of and responsibility for the use of any personal data you disclose to us. Some of this data
may be stored or processed in computers located in other jurisdictions, whose data protection laws may differ
from the jurisdiction in which you live. In such cases, we will ensure that appropriate protections are in place to
require the data processor in that country to maintain protections on the data that are equivalent to those that
apply in the country in which you live.
